Don't Be a Hat-less Wonder: 10 Tips for Finding Your Match
Buying a hat can be a considered purchase, but whatever the event, be it leisure, a special day or for everyday, get the right one for you!
1. If you are new to hat shopping, going in to a shop can feel a little intimidating sometimes, so take a friend or friends and make it fun.
2. Take your time. Try different kinds of hat and move them around on your head, try tilting it slightly on one side, then the other. Try a more dramatic tilt! Tilt it to the back; bring down on to your eyebrows. Remember at this point you are trying not buying.
3. Try more than one style of hat!
4. If you have it, take your outfit with you. The brain is not very good at remembering colour. If you have an outfit with a round neck, and or you have a short neck, make sure you check out your hat with the outfit so that it doesn’t overwhelm you.
5. You don’t have to wear the same colour hat, shoes and hand bag.
6. Wearing heels can make a difference to the overall look of your outfit, so take shoes that you are going to wear or those of a similar height.
