Get ready to don your most creative, quirky or extravagant hat and join us for the World Hat Walk 2026! On Sunday, May 10th, towns and cities across the globe will be celebrating this unique event, and we're thrilled to be bringing it to Norfolk again!
Raising Funds for Deserving Causes
The World Hat Walk is a fun, vibrant and inspiring event that brings communities together while raising vital funds for charity. This year, we're proudly supporting Brain Tumour Research nationally, and locally, we're delighted to be raising money for two fantastic local causes: LILAC (Ladies in League Against Cancer) and the North West Norfolk Autism Association. Please donate on the day if you would like to.

In Norfolk, the Extraordinary Hat Company and Active Fakenham invite you to join us! We'll be meeting at 12:30 pm outside Aldiss, with the walk commencing at 1:00 pm. Enjoy a scenic walk around Fakenham with planned photo stops along the way, primarily at the Gas Museum, providing fantastic opportunities to capture memories and showcase your amazing hats! This year we will also be having a picnic at the end of the walk.
